Finding Our Purpose
Dentistry is our passion and after careful evaluation of our nonprofit and our former events, we wanted to realign Hartman Dental for a Reason with our purpose.
After careful consideration, we have decided to begin a new adventure for the upcoming years. Beginning in 2019, we are proud to introduce our first annual Taste of Hope Gala.
The Taste of Hope Gala will be hosted at The Grand in Downtown New Albany, Indiana and will be a black tie optional evening reception. The evening will consist of a speaker, tasty small plates created by some of Kentuckiana's most coveted chefs and restaurants, live music, silent auction, presentation of student scholarships and the Giving Hope Local Impact Award to the Jan Loi Memorial Endowment Fund.
We are thrilled to have the opportunity to bring an event of this caliber to Southern Indiana and would love to have you attend! Tickets will be available beginning December 2019 and may be purchased through eventbrite using the link here.

Are you a graduating senior from the Prosser Career Education Center or a continuing education student that has been accepted into an accredited university and are pursuing a career in dentistry? Check out our scholarship application page here.
In previous years, the Hartman Dental 5K team would elect and choose a different beneficiary each year to receive funding from the event. Our funding allowed various nonprofit organizations to fund their general business expenses, new programs, and outreach opportunities.
While we are blessed to have had the opportunity to fund organizations throughout Kentuckiana, we wanted to change our beneficiary process to fit the new message of Hartman Dental for a Reason. After making some huge changes, we have decided to benefit our community in a new way.
Beginning in 2019, Hartman Dental for a Reason will be providing two scholarships to students pursuing dental careers throughout Kentuckiana. Of the two scholarships, one student must be a graduating senior from the Prosser Career Education Center dental program and one student must be a continuing education student whom has been accepted into an accredited university or program. In addition to the scholarship opportunity, the Giving Hope Local Impact Award will be presented to the Jan Loi Memorial Endowment Fund team to assist in funding their 2020 projects.
