Despite our constant impact within the Southern Indiana community, we strive to do more. In 2015, Dr. Hartman and his wife, Karen, decided to greater their impact and create a 501 ©(3) nonprofit called, Hartman Dental for a Reason.

 

Since it’s beginning, Hartman Dental for a Reason was on a pathway to greatness and has held multiple 5K races throughout Southern Indiana. Beneficiaries of the 5K have included, Jan Loi Memorial Endowment Fund, Habitat for Humanity Floyd and Clark Counties, Pat Harrison Resource Center at Norton Hospital, Brandon’s House Counselling Center, and Scarlet Hope Ministries.

 

But, our community involvement does not end with our nonprofit. Aside from Hartman Dental for a Reason, our team stays involved within the community we love. Dr. Hartman is a third generation New Albany High School graduate and his community holds a special place in his heart. Because of his love for athletics and his alumni status, you can often see “Hartman Dental Associates” across the uniforms of New Albany High School athletes.

 

Over the past year, our team has had the opportunity to sponsor a few exciting events including: the News and Tribune Player of the Year awards, Better Business Bureau Torch Awards, USA Cares Gala, Montgomery Farms First Annual Sweet Corn Festival, New Albany Floyd County School Corporation’s Education Foundation event, and the New Albany Track Club.
